About me
I am a second-year Economics PhD student at the University of California, San Diego (UC San Diego). I study how knowledge is socially aggregated for economic purposes in predominantly rural and village settings. I work on the Learning to Learn initiative led by Prof. Vesall Nourani. I am interested in understanding how communities build their social fabric and how we can design policies that preserve — rather than erode — it and the culture behind it. Previously, I have worked at the Development Innovation Lab at the University of Chicago, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Jain Family Institute, the Colombian National Department of Statistics, IPA Colombia, and the Central Bank of Colombia.
My main research interests lie in community development.
